Status of Work
Foundations for the library and allied health sections are complete and the foundations for the nursing section are 35% complete. Erection of masonry foundation walls and backfilling at the completed foundations is ongoing. Steel erection on the library section is finishing, and erection in the allied health section is ongoing. Preparation of floor slabs for concrete pours in the library section is ongoing. Several masonry stair towers have been started. Installation of curbing and light pole bases is complete in the north lot, and gravel grading is finishing.
Work Next 30 Days
Building foundations in the nursing section should be completed. Structural steel erection in the allied health area will be completed and will be ongoing in the nursing section. Concrete floor slab pours will start in the library section on 1/14 and continue through the month. Installation of sprayed-on fireproofing will start in the library section, as well as MEP rough-ins. Exterior masonry work should start on the library section. North parking areas will have curbs and gravel completed for use by construction manager for storage and parking.
Issues
Presently the work is 17 days behind the CM@Risk construction schedule due to manpower issues with the foundation sub-contractor. The CM@Risk is finalizing plans with the steel erector to make up the lost time.
Audio visual equipment design review set to be submitted in late-January.
Furniture samples to be reviewed in late January.
