Status of Work
Library Section - Installation of roofing insulation and moisture barrier is completed with installation of metal roofing has started. Brick installation is 95% complete. Installation of window frames and glazing is 40% complete. MEP trades are finishing above ceiling and in wall work with inspection starting next week.
Allied Health Section - Installation of roofing insulation and moisture barrier is completed and roofing installation is 80% complete. Installation of brick veneer is ongoing. Installation of metal stud walls is completed. MEP trades are finishing above ceiling and in wall work with inspection starting later this month.
Nursing Section - Installation of concrete block is complete. Installation of stud walls is complete. Installation of roofing insulation and moisture barrier is ongoing. MEP trades are continuing installation of ductwork, plumbing lines and electrical conduits both above the ceilings and in the walls.
Work Next 30 Days
Library Section - Installation of metal roofing will finish. Placement of brick will be completed. Installation of window frames and glass will be completed. Installation of drywall will be started.
Allied Health Section - Installation of brick should be completing. Installation of window frames and glass will be ongoing. Installation of drywall will be started.
Nursing Section - Installation of roofing insulation and moisture barrier will be completed and the roofing started. MEP trades should be mostly finished with above ceiling and in wall work.
Issues
Presently the work is 28 days behind the CM@Risk construction schedule. Time lost this last month was due to delays involved with achieving dry-in of the Library portion of the building.
Carpet allowance has been resolved. Building interior colors have been reviewed and approved by the two Academic Deans and the Library Director.
Audio Visual Equipment Design is completed. Purchase is awaiting resolution of funding availability.
The Interior Designer is preparing the color selections for the furniture to be presented for review and approval. Once the colors are approved, the design will be completed. Purchase will then await resolution of funding availability.
