Status of Work
Site infrastructure work for electrical, telecommunications, storm sewer and sanitary sewer is ongoing. The building grading for allied health is complete and the nursing area is ongoing. Foundations for the library section are complete except for the retaining wall. Foundations for the allied health section are 25% complete. Steel erection on the library section has started. Parking lots north of the building have been graded.
Work Next 30 Days
Site infrastructure work should complete to extent possible. Building grading should be completed. Building foundations in allied health section should be completed and ongoing in the nursing section. Structural steel erection in the library area will be completed and flooring decks & slabs started. Structural steel erection will be ongoing in the allied health section. Parking areas will have curbs and gravel installed for use by construction manager for storage and parking.
Issues
Presently the work is 7 days behind the CM@Risk construction schedule due to manpower issues with the foundation sub-contractor, but the CM is working with the sub-contractor on methods to make up the lost time.
Furniture and audio visual equipment design to re-commence in November.
Color design & selection to occur in December/January.
