FUTURE HEALTHCARE MANAGERS
The Future Healthcare Managers (FHM) of ECU is the professional development association for Health Services Management majors and other students interested in careers as leaders and managers in healthcare. As a registered student organization at ECU, FHM of ECU focuses on networking and identifying new career development opportunities. Benefits of being a member of FHM of ECU include opportunities to serve in leadership roles and participate in organizational activities, development of a greater understanding of potential career paths, and networking academically and socially with student peers. The organization strives to keep members updated on student conferences and works to bring prestigious speakers to the College of Allied Health Sciences. In February 2010, FHM of ECU sponsored Quint Studer who presented his outlook on leadership in healthcare based upon his most recent book, Straight A Leadership.
