ID Clinical

This conference is held weekly on Wednesday morning at 8 AM in Vidant Room TA391.  This lecture series consist of classes that are diagnosis specific.  The main speakers are the fellows themselves with a faculty member to mentor them, other speakers include faculty from departments such as pathology and pharmacy.

Didactic

This conference is held weekly on Wednesday morning at 9 AM in Vidant Room TA391.  This lecture series consist of material on subject matters relating to various infectious disease topics.  Subject matter includes updates on testing and treatment as well as discussions on topic of current interest (polio, Ebola).

Journal Club

This conference is held monthly on the second Tuesday at noon in Doctor's Park 6B.  This series consist of articles select for prsentations by fellows and faculty that are relevant to current Infectious Disease topics.

Research

This conference is held monthly on the third Tuesday at noon in Doctor's Park 6B.  This meeting is used to discuss current research involving the fellows and faculty.  It is a wonderful time to brainstorm with colleagues about success, road blocks and new directions.

HIV/AIDS

This conference is held monthly on Monday at noon in Doctor's Park 6B.  These meetings deal with subjects related to the care of HIV/AIDS patient needs.  Discussions on the latest advancement, treatment and diagnosis in HIV/AIDS care are held in an informal and educational forum.

Travel and Hepatitis C

This conference is held on the second and fourth Thursday at noon in Doctor's Park 6B.  These meetings deal with topics of patients needs who have travel or are traveling outside of the United States.  Discussions on the latest advancement, treatment and diagnosis in Hepatitis C are held.
