Division of Cardiology
This division serves patients with congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, arrhythmias and other diseases of the heart. Physicians and technical staff perform interventional and diagnostic catheterization, echocardiography and stress tests.
Other services in the Cardiology Division include electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology, lipid management, cardiovascular preventive care, outreach clinics, adult congenital heart disease, syncope, cardiac rehabilitation, clinical research and heart failure. Cardiology accepts two general Fellows each year into a three-year program. Applications are accepted through January 1st, and interviews are conducted in February. Final determinations are made by April.
