Department of Internal Medicine
20th Annual Research Day
Wednesday, May 24th, 2006
The Department of Internal Medicine will held its 20th Annual Research Day on Wednesday, May 24th, 2006. Organized by the department’s Research Day Advisory Committee, the major purpose of Research Day is to provide a forum for discussion of research ideas and to promote professional and social interaction within the department.
As in the past, the format consisted of standard oral presentations (10-minute PowerPoint presentation followed by 5-minute discussion) as well as a poster session. All departmental faculty and/or staff, house staff fellows and students were encouraged to present their data-supported research at the scientific sessions.
