**NOTE, the best way to ensure settings will take effect is to close the browser after modifying, and then open it back up.**
To enable Java

For Internet Explorer versions 6 & 7:
1. Choose Tools from the top menu bar.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Scroll until you see Java (Sun). Check the box next to it.
5. Close the browser, and then re-open it.

For Internet Explorer versions 4 and 5, try the following:
1. Choose View from the top menu bar.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. Click the Custom button , and then click the Settings button.
5. Scroll down to Scripting/Active Scripting.
6. Click Enable.
7. Click OK to save the changes.
8. Click OK again to save and return to Internet Explorer.

For Netscape 4.0 or greater:
1. Choose Edit from the top menu bar.
2. Select Preferences.
3. In the category list, click Advanced.
4. Click box for Enable JavaScript , if not already checked.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
6. Close and re-open the browser.

For FireFox 2.x:
1. Click on Tools on the menu bar and select Options.
2. In the Options window, select the "Content"
icon on the left.
3. Select both "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript".

For FireFox 1.x:

1. Click on Tools on the menu bar and select Options.
2. In the Options window, select the "Web Features "
icon on the left.
3. Select "Enable Java".
To enable cookies and clear cookies

For
Internet Explorer 7

TO enable cookies:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
2. On the Privacy tab, click the Advanced button.
3. Check the Override automatic Cookie Handling box, and also mark "Accept" under both
First Party Cookies and Third Party Cookies.
4. Click OK and then OK again.

TO delete cookies:
*please note, clearing all cookies can delete all saved browser information, form data, passwords and history. Only do this if nothing else works.
To clear cookies:
1. Click on Tools from the menu bar
2. Click on Delete Browsing History
3. Click the Delete Cookies button. Make sure to restart your computer to ensure all data has been cleared.

For Internet Explorer 6

TO enable cookies:
1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
2. On the Privacy tab, move the settings slider to Low or Accept All Cookies.
3. Click OK.

To clear cookies:
*please note, clearing all cookies can delete all saved browser information, form data, passwords and history. Only do this if nothing else works.

1. Open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.
2. Click the Delete Cookies button.
3. Click OK.


 
For Netscape 6.x or greater
Go to the Edit Menu, and select Preferences.
In the left pane, under "Privacy & Security", select Cookies.
On the right side of the Preferences window, choose the action you would like from the list provided by Netscape.
Click OK until you return to the Netscape window.

For Netscape 4.x
Go to the Edit Menu, and select Preferences.
In the left pane, beneath "Category:" select Advanced.
On the right side of the Preferences window, find the "Cookies" section.
From here, you can select a button to disable cookies, accept all cookies or to only accept cookies from the originating server.
Click OK until you return to the Netscape window.
 
For FireFox 2.x
Click on Tools on the menu bar and select Options. In the Options window, select the "Privacy" icon. Click the "Accept cookies form sites".

For FireFox 1.x
Click on Tools on the menu bar and select Options. In the Options window, select the "Privacy" icon on the left. Select/expand "Cookies". Select "Allow Sites to Set Cookies".

For Opera
Click on the Tools menu. Click on the Prefrences item in the menu. The Enable Cookies box must be checked, and Accept all Cookies hsould be selected in the Normal Cookies drop down box.
