Accessing Electronic Resources
Access to Electronic Resources is available to students, faculty and staff from off campus. Depending on which Electronic resource you use, you may need to login through ECU's proxy server.  When prompted for Proxy Server access, enter your ECU ID and password. This is the same ID and password used for OneStop and PirateMail. The timeout for off-campus or remote login is 30 minutes.

Problems logging into ECU Proxy Server
The ECU Proxy Server access page will have an error reporting form if you have trouble logging in.

If you can not remember your ECU user ID, visit the university's E-Mail and Phone page, type in your name and you'll receive your User ID. Additionally, you can reset your PirateID Password. The Passphrase Maintenance page provides directions on how to register and sign in.

If they require and IP address to unblock, give them the following IP addresses:
       150.216.68.200 port 80

Not only is interlibrary loan useful for obtaining articles that you cannot access online, but you may also use this service to borrow books from the library. Distance education students can have library books sent to them using this service, which is called “remote checkout”. We will send the item(s) to you at no charge, but you will need to pay to have the item sent back to us.
