Equipment may only be loaned to ECU Division of Health Sciences (Brody School of Medicine and Schools of Allied Health Sciences and Nursing) faculty, staff, and students presenting a valid ECU 1 Card. All borrowers must be registered as a library user to checkout equipment. If you are not a registered user, you may

The digital camcorder loan will include a digital camcorder, USB cable, rechargeable battery pack, AC adapter and power cord, AV cable, operating manual, Handycam application CD-Rom software, and carrying case.
The digital camera loan will include a digital camera, 128MB memory card, USB cable to download pictures to your computer, 2 sets of AA rechargeable batteries, and a carrying case.
The laptop loan will include a laptop, power cord, and carrying bag.
The iPod touch loan will include an iPod touch, protective case, USB sync/charge cable, earbud headphones, two foam earbud covers, quick start guide, cleaning cloth and carrying case for the iPod and all included accessories.
The TurningPoint loan kit will include a case with 50 clickers, USB receiver, software CD, along with a laptop that has TurningPoint installed.
Equipment is loaned for one week and are due back to the Computer Lab Manager on duty before 5:00pm on the due date. A $10 per day fee will be charged for all overdue equipment.
Equipment loans should be reserved in advance and can be renewed if not reserved by another borrower. If requesting a renewal, the equipment must be presented to the Computer Lab Manager by the original borrower (cannot be returned by a co-worker or other individual).
Equipment must be returned to the Computer Lab Manager and should never be placed in a book drop for return. No equipment will circulate until it has been inspected and approved by Computer Lab Manager.
The library is not responsible for providing DVD media for the digital camcorders.
All files stored on the equipment will be deleted upon return.
The library is not responsible for lost data.
Loss or damage to equipment will be charged to the borrower.
Students with overdue equipment will have their university records tagged the day following the due date. Faculty and Staff with overdue equipment will lose their borrowing privileges from the library.
