J. Clint Parker, M.D., Ph.D.
J. Clint Parker received his BSE from Duke University, his MD from East Carolina University, The Brody School of Medicine, and his PhD in philosophy from Rice University. Dr. Parker also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Nephrology at East Carolina University/University Health Systems in Greenville, NC. He currently practices as a private practice nephrologist in the area. Dr. Parker completed his dissertation at Rice University on Moral Complicity. His research interests include ethical issues surrounding the role of conscience in medicine, moral complicity, and moral epistemology. He currently is a co-instructor in the M-1 Medical Ethics class. He is a member of the Medical Ethics Committee at PCMH.
