Kenneth A. De Ville, Ph.D., J.D. Dr. De Ville holds a doctorate in History from Rice University (1989) and a law degree from the University of Texas (1992).
His research interests include:
- Legal medicine
- The history of medical jurisprudence.
- The relationship between law and ethics.
De Ville is author of the book Medical Malpractice in Nineteenth Century America: Origins and Legacy (NYU Press, 1990). He is co-editor with Loretta Kopelman of The Debate over Physician-Assisted Suicide and Its Meaning for End-of-Life Care (Kluwer, 2001).
