For all entries: - All entries, digital or non-digital, are due by 4:00pm on January 15th, 2008 EST.
- Limit of 5 submissions per person.
- Must be original work.
- All forms of creative writing or art accepted.
- Any theme can be represented, does not have to be medically related (please keep things tasteful).
- RIGHTS: By submitting your work, you affirm that you are the sole author or artist, and maintain ALL rights for your work. If your work is accepted for publication, type.cast retains electronic archival rights and the issue in which your work appears will be stored online for the public to view. We reserve the right to store your work as part of a CD anthology in the future. We retain the right to re-size the images selected to fit design format.
Art:
If digital submission:
- Minimum DPI of 200
- Minimum size: 5x7
For non-digital submissions:
- Please submit your work by filling out an entry form located in The Medical Humanities Conference room.
- Art will be stored and locked in the evening in the Medical Humanities Department 2S-17.
- If submitting sculpture, please submit toward the end of the deadline or submit a photograph and be prepared to drop off actual piece the day before the review committee meets.
- We are not responsible for damaged or stolen pieces of art.
*Art will be moved twice for reviewing and photographing.
Literature:
- Slang accepted as long as it’s in good taste.
- Limit of 500 words.
- Please submit your work in the format in which you prefer it to be printed. Typography will be left to the discretion of the graphic designer.
