Educational Consultation
"Best Practices Medical Education" is a term that is increasingly used to describe the process of teaching and learning for future physicians. The Office of Medical Education provides an educational consultation service that focuses on the science of teaching and learning in a variety of ways.
Our office works with individual faculty members to help them develop and maintain their skills in regard to teaching and assessing medical students, resident physicians and other health professions learners. Our goal is to help you be successful as a member of the teaching faculty. We offer informal, one-to-one consultation as well as group-oriented training sessions. And, we work collaboratively with our Office of Academic and Faculty Development in the provision of outstanding faculty workshops designed to improve education-related skills.
If you would like to talk further about educational consultation services, please contact our offices.
