During the 2004-2005 academic year, the Office of Medical Education, working in partnership with the Office of Academic and Faculty Development, began offering quarterly grand rounds sessions on various topics related to the continuum of medical education (i.e., UME/MD degree, GME/Residency and Fellowship training, Continuing Medical Education). These sessions are conducted by faculty members of the Brody School of Medicine and/or faculty members from other health professions schools at East Carolina University.
Previous grand rounds sessions have covered the following topics:

- Altering the Practice Behaviors of Physicians through Educational Methods
- Identifying Medical Students Experiencing Distress
