For patients and doctors alike, serious illness raises hard existential questions. This session introduces the moral reasoning framework that Brody students learn to apply to ethical dilemmas associated with serious illness. After an introductory presentation, the audience will divide into small groups for guided discussion of two or three cases drawn from our faculty’s ethics consultations.
A display of health information will be provided by Ms. Beth Ketterman, Laupus Library outreach librarian.
