Bio

Dr. Hardin received her BSN and MSN from the University of NC at Charlotte, her PhD from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and a MBA/MHA from Pfeiffer University. Dr. Hardin is currently a Professor in the College of Nursing at East Carolina University, Greenville NC. She is widely known for her work related to the AACN Synergy Model of Optimal Patient Outcomes and clinical management of acute and critically ill adults.  She has conducted research on older women and health promotion, cardiovascular symptom management and issues surrounding inpatient critical care with the geriatric population.
