The primary purpose of ECU Career Services is to assist and guide students in their career quest. Their office has requested a presence on the nursing website to present information and materials that might prove helpful to nursing students as they prepare to graduate and practice nursing as a career. The information that they would like to share with nursing students is below.
The office of ECU Career Services helps students understand how to manage their careers and how to effectively market themselves in whatever endeavor they may choose. Services available to students include career exploration through assessments, resume, cover letter, personal statement and CV assistance, interview preparation, job and internship search strategies, networking with professionals, and workshops to develop professional skills. Patrick Roberts, the career liaison to the College of Nursing/College of Allied Health, has over 7 years of experience in career counseling and development.
