If you're the parent or family member of an East Carolina University nursing student, you've landed on the right page. The ECU College of Nursing celebrates the role that parents play in their child's education; we're excited to partner with you to ensure your child's success. Whether your family is embarking on the college journey or preparing for graduation, here are some helpful resources.
The College of Nursing offers several opportunities for parents to visit us throughout the year. Building tours and even our annual spring Pirate Nurse 5K are great ways to experience the college in person. Parents of first-semester nursing students are invited to our Lamp of Learning Ceremony. Held both spring and fall semesters, this event welcomes new nursing students into the profession. Each student in attendance receives a pin, a time-honored tradition that symbolizes commitment to nursing.
If you are a Pirate Nurse parent and would like to receive details about this or another Lamp of Learning Ceremony and get updates from the college, submit your information by clicking here.
