Professional Master's Degree Path
The professional (entry-level) master's degree path is designed for individuals who want to be occupational therapists and have an undergraduate degree in something other than occupational therapy.

Accelerated Professional Master's Degree Path
The accelerated program provides a means by which highly qualified undergraduate students at ECU enroll as a freshman in the undergraduate program of Health Services Management with the intention of preparing for a professional masters (entry-level) degree program in Occupational Therapy.  This path of entry to the occupational therapy program DOES NOT guarantee admission to the program; the student must apply to the graduate program in their junior year.  The student on the accelerated degree path will not receive an undergraduate degree; they will receive a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Integrated Undergraduate/Graduate Degree Program in Psychology and Occupational Therapy
The integrated Undergraduate/Graduate Degree Program in Psychology and Occupational Therapy provides a means by which highly qualified undergraduate students at ECU may pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology with the intention of completing the professional masters degree in occupational therapy in five years. Fifteen semester credits of graduate courses count towards both the undergraduate and graduate degree. Total for both undergraduate and graduate programs are 184 credits.  The student on this path applies to the occupational therapy program their junior year following the standard application process.  If accepted into the program, the student will complete two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.  However, this path of entry does not guarantee entrance into the master's occupational therapy program; however, it prepares them for entry into the occupational therapy program by completing all prerequisites.

Post-Professional Master's Degree Path
Please note:  The post-professional master's degree is not accepting applications at this time.
The post-professional master's degree path is for the individual who is already a certified occupational therapist.

Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology
This graduate certificate program is for teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, recreational therapists, rehabilitation counselors, physical therapists, engineers or any professional that may use knowledge or skills to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.  Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree.
