OT Web1 Our professional (entry-level) master's degree program was developed to meet the needs of therapists who will practice in a highly complex healthcare environment. Upon completion of our program, the graduate will have a master's of science degree in occupational therapy and will be prepared to work in diverse practice settings with a variety of people. Graduates of our program are eligible to sit for the national certification examination.   

NBCOT Pass Rates

Program results from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) can be found online at https://secure.nbcot.org/data/schoolstats.aspx. The results identified are pass rates of graduates within one year of graduation. They are organized by state and by calendar year.

OT Web2 Occupational therapists help people "live life to its fullest!" Occupational therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. Occupational therapy assists people in developing the "skills for the job of living" necessary for independent and satisfying lives.

10 Year Accreditation Awarded!

The MS in Occupational Therapy program received a 10-year re-accreditation from AOTA’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) Spring 2015. This is the highest level of award given by ACOTE.

Dr. Denise Donica presents in New Delhi, India

Dr. Donica presented at the All India Occupational Therapists’ Association conference OTICON’ 2015 as an international delegate about Handwriting Without Tears and her research with the curriculum. She is also beginning an international pilot research study exploring the use of the curriculum in schools in India.
