The integrated BA in Psychology/MS in Occupational Therapy program provides a means by which highly qualified students may complete both a BA degree in psychology and the professional master's degree in occupational therapy in five years instead of the traditional six years.  The combined degree program requires a total of 184 semester hours and allows for 15 semester hours of coursework to count toward both the graduate and undergraduate degrees.  The requirements for the integrated degree are spelled out on the advising checksheet on the Psychology Department's website.

The student accepted into the integrated program applied to the occupational therapy program their junior year after 75 credits of completed undergraduate work.  The student should follow the standard application process.  Students should note that acceptance into the integrated program as a psychology major does not guarantee admission into the master's occupational therapy program; however, it prepares them for entry into the occupational therapy program by completing all prerequisites.  If accepted into the occupation therapy program, the student will complete two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Interested students should consult their advisor and the Department of Psychology for additional information.
