Mrs. Bunting worked as a Physician Extender II at ECU Family Medicine practicing primary care for just under four years where she precepted PA students regularly. She has also worked in the fields of Urgent Care, Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and is currently practicing in outpatient Internal Medicine. Prior to her PA career, she also worked as a Research Technician II for the Department of Physiology and the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at East Carolina University focusing on diabetes, obesity, and muscle metabolism. In this position, she concentrates on the admissions process as well as classroom instruction in the didactic phase of the program. While not working, Mrs. Bunting enjoys life with her family and vacationing near the water.
