Camp Needles in the Pines, located in Eastern North Carolina, is a one week residential camp for children with diabetes ages 8 to 14.  Activities include swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, crafts, rifle range, tenting, improved self-help skills. Camp is located at Camp Boddie, Boy Scout Camp at Blounts Creek, NC.  The cost is $200.00.  Full and partial scholarships are available.

The 2012 camp will be held July 21-26, 2013.

Pre-registration forms can be obtained by contacting the camp office at the phone number below. Pre-registration deadline is April 15, 2013. No camper packet will be sent until the form is received.

All medical supplies are provided at camp. The medical staff are volunteers from the hospital, medical school, and university.
