Children with Chronic and Complex Conditions
For infants and children whose conditions are fragile, chronic and complex, requiring special medical and developmental support. The center aims to promote optimal growth, development and well-being for these children and their families while working with the child's own physician and assisting children during their transition to adult medical care. Children's Advocacy
(also known as the TEDI BEAR Center)
provides forensic evaluation and consultation, with mental health services for child abuse victims and their families. Evaluations are through physician, social worker and law enforcement referral only.  More information can be viewed at

Children's Developmental Services Agency - CDSA
(formerly the DEC)
     Cares for children who are suspected of or known to have a developmental disability and are under the age of three years are seen in this clinic.  Developmental disabilities include spina bifida, autism, mental retardation, or any childhood developmental difficulty involving movement or communication. We see many young children with greatly varied needs stemming from illness, injury, or delayed development.  Children are referred to the CDSA by physicians and other health care professionals, as well as by a parent.   For more information please click here to go to our website.

Pediatrics Outpatient Center provides care in:
  • General Pediatrics - Comprehensive pediatrics services that include routine care, immunizations, check-ups. Also evaluations, diagnosis and management of ongoing medical conditions.
  • Acute Care Clinic - An after-hours pediatrics office for children up to age 18 with non-life-threatening emergencies or who need immediate medical attention.  
    For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go directly to the Emergency Room at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
  • Adolescent Care - A special service for older children who are experiencing the mental and physical changes of adulthood. Staffed by pediatricians with special training in the needs of adolescents.
  • Diagnostic Dilemma Clinic - A special clinic for children with difficult-to-diagnose conditions. A second-opinion consultation services.

Located on Moye Boulevard. Behind the Brody School of Medicine and beside the Brody Outpatient Center.

 
Healthy Weight Treatment Center
