- Educational funds for each year of training.

- Professional leave: 10 days of educational leave over three years and 10 days for interviewing/job transition during the second and third years.

- Financial support for professional meetings: residents who hold offices in professional societies or present scholarly work may be eligible for funds to allay travel expenses.
