The 7th Annual Pediatric Healthy Weight Summit, "The Role of the Social Environment in the Prevention & Treatment of Childhood Obesity" will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the East Carolina Health Institute. The summit will focus on aspects of the social environment (family, peers, schools, faith based organizations and virtual communities) and how they influence the development of obesity and can serve as positive vehicles for change.
