Meetings
We usually have two club meetings per semester. Every meeting has speakers who will discuss the program or PT-related issues and offer advice on succeeding with your application process.
Volunteer Experience
One of the requirements for admission to the DPT program is to provide evidence of exposure to the practice of physical therapy. The best way to do this is through volunteer work. Below is a list of volunteer sites in eastern North Carolina. Remember: two of the three letters of reference submitted with your application must be from licensed physical therapists who supervised your PT experience. A minimum of 100 volunteer hours is encouraged.
