Ron Gaskins is the President of Access East, a Greenville, NC based not-for-profit population health network striving to increase access to care for Medicaid and uninsured populations across 27 counties of Eastern North Carolina.

Ron was a 2011-13 alumni of the “Jim Bernstein Community Health Leadership Fellowship” program, where his final project consisted of creating a post-partum visit toolkit focused on social and continuity of care issues. Ron was also the inaugural “Distinguished Fellow Award Recipient” in 2015 for the Jim Bernstein Community Health Leadership Fellowship Program.

He was the 2012 recipient of the “40 Leaders Under Forty Award” from the Triad Business Journal as well as a 2013 graduate of “Leadership Winston Salem”. Ron currently serves as the chair of Pitt Partners for Health and the co-chair of the "Access to Care" committee for Pitt Partners for Health.

Ron is married to his wife Alexandra and has three young sons; Noah, Luke, and Jacob.
