Navigate
, a new counseling clinic operated by the faculty and students of the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies is open for business. Our compassionate, caring, and qualified professionals will assist clients navigate many of life's challenges.

Individual Counseling

Navigate's services are designed to help clients:

·Identify challenges

·Cope with stress

·Improve interpersonal skills and relationships

·Choose a career or education path, or head in a new direction

·Improve confidence and self-esteem

·Improve assertiveness

·Assess and address the impact of alcohol or drug use in their lives

 

1_1 Counseling

Navigate maintains a holistic approach to counseling individuals, families, and groups utilizing evidence-based and innovative interventions. Navigate's qualified professionals are supervised by doctoral graduate students or faculty, whose credentials include licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed professional counselor associate (LCPA), licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS), certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC), or certified vocational evaluation specialist (CVE).

Persons eligible for services include students, faculty, and staff of East Carolina University and residents of Greenville and the surrounding area. A nominal fee based on a sliding scale will be charged.

Navigate is located on the 4th Floor of the Allied Health Sciences Building (just follow the signs once you enter the building at Laupus Library).
