 Glyn Young, Ph.D. is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation Studies. Dr. Young is an Administrator of the Clinical Information and Support Office at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. This administrative position includes the following operational units: utilization management, social work, discharge planning, medical staff support, clinical analysis programs, quality management and substance abuse services. She has 18 years of Hospital and health care administrative experience. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from North Carolina State University and M.S.W. from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Young has 12 years of university teaching experience (since 1990) as an adjunct faculty member for ECU's REHB dept. She has taught the undergraduate REHB 2003 Alcohol and Drug Abuse and currently teaches the REHB 6610 Employee Assistance Program courses. | |
