Spotlight on Service

The Spotlight on Service award program gives employees and patients the opportunity to publicly recognize and appreciate a co-worker or to be recognized and appreciated for exemplary customer service at the Brody School of Medicine. 

Nominations can be made by filling out a nomination form available on “ballot boxes” throughout BSOM. Each nominee receives a letter of recognition when the nomination is received. At the end of each quarter, the nominations for that quarter are reviewed by a blind panel and winners are chosen. Each winner receives a ‘thank you’ gift and is recognized in Pieces of Eight and Clinic Pulse.

Congratulations and “thank you” to the following employees who were chosen as ‘Spotlight on Service’ Award winners for the 3rd period of 2007.  Listed are their roles at BSOM, departments and years of service at ECU. Remember, you can nominate a co-worker for a customer service award anytime. Boxes are located throughout BSOM. 

Celeste Cowan – Hematology Oncology – Nurse Specialist – 9 year 5months’ service.

Lori Cutler – Health Information Systems/Services – Admin Support Specialist -6 years 10 months’ service.

Michelle Durham – Patient Access Services – Admin Support Specialist – 2 year 11 months’ service.

Debra Peaden – Infectious Disease – Social/Clinical Research Specialist – 20 years 3 months’ service.
