PERIPHERAL ARTERY DISEASE
 
Peripheral arteries are located in human legs. Pain caused by walking or sitting can be warning signs of peripheral artery disease(PAD). Plaque buildup on the artery walls cause the blood flow to be hindered. The result is a pain in the legs. High blood pressure, smoking and fat diets can lead to PAD.

Detection:
  • Physical Exam
  • Doppler/Duplex 
  • Arteriography
