SPLENIC DISORDERS
 
Laparoscopic Splenectomy (Removal of Spleen)

Symptoms: Low Platelet Count, Easy Bruising, Lymphoma

Diagnosis: Low Blood Count, Refractory to Steroids

Treatment: Remove Spleen

Recovery: 24 hour hospital stay and patient may return to work in 1 to 2 weeks
