The Eastern 4-H Center is situated on 250-acres facing Bulls Bay, which opens into the Albemarle Sound. The grounds include woodlands, meadows, pocosin forests, wetlands, creeks and rivers. Boardwalks, nature trails and boat piers give easy access to natural areas.

While onsite laundry facilities are not available at the Eastern 4-H Center, they have arranged for a weekly laundry services to wash the campers clothes each week.

• Campers should bring enough clothes to get through a week at a time.
  
  
• They should bring clothes that are not likely to run since all of their clothes will be washed together in a laundry bag, not sorted and washed separately by color.
