TEDI BEAR welcomes you to learn more about Children's Advocacy Centers, and about how to prevent and address child abuse. Please consider visiting our clinic, or participating in one of our Stewards of Children training sessions on the prevention of child sexual abuse.
Also, please consider taking one or more interactive online courses offered by other organizations on child abuse and neglect, and about the crime of child trafficking. Most of these courses are free of charge, and many can be used by professionals and foster parents for continuing education credit.
TEDI BEAR invites you to tour our clinic located at 2303 Executive Park Circle, next to Southern Bank on Stantonsburg Road, just across the street from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Please see our Location page for more directions.
This is designed for our law enforcement, social service, and healthcare colleagues, and for community members, students, and people who are interested in supporting our work through volunteering or donations.
In order to protect the privacy of our patients and families, tours require pre-registration, and visitors must be present at 8:15am. Tours conclude at 8:55am. Each tour is limited to no more than ten visitors.
Visitors will learn about how our Child Advocacy Center operates, and the collaborative services for children affected by abuse and neglect.

TEDI BEAR offers free Stewards of Children (pdf) training to all interested adults who want to know how to prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse. This free training requires 2 to 2.5 hours, and is generally offered for the public each month.
The training is appropriate for parents and other adults who want to know how to protect children from child sexual abuse. However, the training is also approved for continuing education credit for nurses, therapists, substance abuse professionals, child care workers, law enforcement staff, and others.
We encourage schools, clubs, churches, child care centers, agencies, hospitals, and other organizations to invite us to conduct Stewards of Children training at their locations on days or evenings that are convenient for them.
Here's a brief introductory video to Stewards of Children.
