EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
We offer two formal educational programs:
Our Residency Program in Telemedicine is a one-month
program for medical residents that includes direct observation
of telemedicine consultations and operations, reading and
discussion of the relevant literature in the field, and one-on-one
and small-group lectures and discussions.
Communicating Health Information is an elective for fourth
year medical students that addresses patient-physician
communications theory and strategy and health literacy.
Also, our monthly “National Telehealth Virtual Grand Rounds” (NTHVGR) sessions are a good source of contemporary information on telehealth programs, clinical applications, and contemporary issues in telehealth. All of the NTHVGR sessions are archived on our website
