Betsy Myers, a senior advisor to Barack Obama's presidential campaign, will present "Leadership and the Moments that Matter" as part of the Cunanan Leadership Speaker Series. The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are needed.
Myers holds more than two decades of executive leadership positions in the public sector. Most recently, she served as chief operating officer and senior advisor to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and she chaired the Women for Obama organization. Prior to this appointment, she was executive director of the Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She also served as President Clinton’s senior advisor on women’s issues and was the first director of the White House Office for Women’s Initiatives and Outreach from 1995 to 1997.
