Graduate students and educators from around the world will offer papers, discussions and workshops on language use, language learning and language teaching, including the teaching of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). Proposal submission is now through Nov. 30. Pre-registration: Jan. 18 and Feb. 1, 2010.
The plenary speaker will be Dr. Elaine E. Tarone, the director of the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) and DistiguishedTeaching Professor in English as a Second Language at the Universityof Minnesota. The conference is sponsored by the ECU English Department and Carolina TESOL.
