Surls' works have been exhibited in the Dallas Museum of Art, the Meadows Museum of Art at Southern Methodist University and Blaffer Gallery at the University of Houston, among other sites. He helped establish the Lawndale Alternative Space artists’ colony in Splendora, Texas. |
