Title: Lecture: Yellow Jack Arrives in Wilmington: The Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1862

Summary: The Medical History Interest Group presents the third lecture of the spring semester series. The free event is sponsored by Laupus Library History Collections and the Department of Bioethics and Interdisciplinary Studies in the Brody School of Medicine.
Details:

Daniel Rice, MPH, MA, director of the New Hanover Health Department, and E. Daniel Shingleton, MSW, teaching instructor in the ECU School of Social Work, will present "Yellow Jack Arrives in Wilmington: The Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1862" in the Evelyn Fike Laupus Gallery on the fourth floor of the health sciences library. Everyone is welcome.
