Dr. Shirley Laska, the Southern Sociological Society Distinguished Lecturer, will speak on "Invigorating Research" on Sept. 12. This is a free lecture.

Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley will visit campus Sept. 27 and 28 to see the School of Theatre and Dance's production of her play "Crimes of the Heart." Henley will also visit with the cast and speak with creative writing students.
