Meet filmmaker Anlo Sepulveda after the screening of "Otis Under Sky" at 7 p.m., Oct. 25 at the Fletcher Music Center. This unscripted story is about a web artist attracted to a heartsick kleptomaniac. This is a free event and open to the public.

U.S. Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey will be on campus Oct. 25 as part of the Contemporary Writers Series. She'll have an informal meeting with the public at 1 p.m. the Greenville Museum of Art and a reading at 8 p.m. at Fletcher Recital Hall.

Dr. Harold Baumgarten, a D-Day survivor in World War II and multi-decorated veteran, will share his experiences. The 87-year-old Baumgarten served as an adviser for director Steven Spielberg on the 1998 film "Saving Private Ryan," which was set during the invasion of Normandy.
