The School of Theatre and Dance presents "Encore! The Night of Rising Stars." Combining a little drama and a little dance leads to a night of fun for a great cause – raising funds to support student scholarships. Billed as "a memorable evening of show tunes, theatre and dance second to none," the event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception in the Burnette Studio Theatre and the performance kicks off at 8 p.m. in McGinnis Theatre. Hear the internationally acclaimed handbell choir, the Raleigh Ringers in Wright Auditorium on Dec. 1. Under the direction of David M. Harris, the Raleigh Ringers has released five CDs and a DVD of a holiday concert entitled "One Winter Evening at Meymandi."
