The State Personnel Commission has announced that State employees will observe 11 paid holidays for calendar year 2010. All eligible employees will be paid for the holiday closings. Please note that the holiday schedule may not be altered or changed by any University official without written consent from the Chancellor.
The following holiday schedule will be observed by all University employees.
NOTE: Memorial Day will be observed by the University in 2010. This schedule reflects the observance of Veteran’s Day as an additional holiday for most employees during Christmas/Winter Break (December 22). ECU Physicians Clinical Practice will be open on Veteran’s Day. CSS employees required to work on the Veteran’s Day holiday will receive a floating holiday to be used between November 11, 2010 and December 31, 2010.
