GREENVILLE, N.C. (1/30/17) – The College of Education at East Carolina University held its 18th Annual Educators Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the Fletcher Recital Hall in Fletcher Music Center.   Twelve educators and education advocates from across the state were recognized during an event raised over $20,000 for student scholarships. Counselor Education Program welcomes new faculty

The Counselor Education Program is excited to have two new tenure-track faculty join the program Dr. Avent received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling and Counselor Education and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at The University of Texas at San Antonio for three years prior to coming to ECU.
