COE Community of Scholars Visit Ron Clark Academy

ECU’s College of Education recently took 14 junior education majors to the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta. All 14 students are four-year scholarship recipients in the college’s Education Community of Scholars.   The Ron Clark Academy is a nationally recognized, nonprofit middle school located in Southeast Atlanta. The Academy has received both national and international recognition for its success in educating students of vast multi-cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ryanne Hilliard selected as finalist for NCACTE Student Teacher of the Year Award

Ryanne Hilliard selected as finalist for NCACTE Student Teacher of the Year Award   In 2016 the North Carolina Association for Colleges and Teacher Educators (NCACTE) initiated the Student Teacher of the Year Award. Ryanne Hilliard (B.S. Mathematics Education, B.A. Mathematics) was selected to represent ECU in the 2018 awards process. Ms. Hilliard was recently selected as one of 10 state finalists for the award.
