The Department of Curriculum and Instruction includes the areas of Elementary Education; English, History, and Middle Grades Education; Foundations; Reading; Research; and Special Education. The department provides an administrative structure which facilitates expanded and improved opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, innovative curriculum design, and new degree options.
