Dr. Carolyn Ledford's primary research areas are social studies education, diversity and global education. A particular focus is global education. She collaborates with faculty at Hiroshima University and leads summer study abroad for education majors and public school teachers each summer in Japan. Recent publications appeared in Early Childhood, Delta Kappa Gamma Bulliten, and Social Studies and the Young Learner.
