Dr. Mark L'Esperance is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at East Carolina University. Dr. L’Esperance is also the Middle Grades Education Area Coordinator. He has published a number of books and articles on issues related to middle school education and school reform. He has also presented his research at the state, national, and international level. In addition, he consults with individual schools and school districts on issues related to school reform and middle schools.
